The Seven Sacraments
Sacraments are outward signs of inward grace, instituted by Christ for our sanctification. The purpose of the sacraments is to make people holy, to build up the body of Christ and to give worship to God. They are also signs that teach us about our father. There are Sacraments of Initiation which bring us into full membership in the Church, this includes Baptism, Eucharist and Confirmation. Sacraments of healing restore our relationship with God and they include Reconciliation and Anointing of the sick.
